Hey, thanks for checking out my new website on photography tips. It is my goal as a photographer and digital artist to share with you everything I have learned in the last few years. What makes me qualified? Absolutely nothing, however, I am pretty dang smart and have read countless books, taken hundreds of thousands of photos and I have been using Photoshop since 1995 – before many of you were born. I know I am OLD! I am so old I saw the first Star Wars movie in the theater back in the 1970s.

My day job is a web designer and my part time job is a photographer. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades – although I really enjoy portrait photography.

This website will focus on a few areas: Camera Gear, Software, HDR, and Lighting. I will share what I know about other topics but these are the areas I will focus on. Anyway, I better wrap this “about me” page up quickly – I am getting hungry and I am going photographing tonight. Drop me a line if you have a question you want me to answer.

BTW, my name is David but I spell it dav.d to make it look internetish and standout. It is all about branding.
